Mary Nathan

Mary Nathan was diagnosed with Gaucher Disease as a child and has provided leadership to the Gaucher community for over thirty years. Despite having ten surgeries and living in a wheelchair for seven years, Mary worked as staff for Tim Wirth (D-Colorado), served as a consultant and program planner for the U.S. Dept. of Labor, worked in the development office of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies and was Executive Director of the National Gaucher Foundation.  She lives in Maryland with her cat, Wilson Bentley.
